東武鉄道最新の特急車両として2017年より運行開始。
現在3両編成8本が在籍しています。
日光線、鬼怒川線、伊勢崎線、野田線で幅広く運用され、野岩鉄道会津鬼怒川線、会津鉄道会津線へ直通運転も行なっています。
