●マイクロエース近郊型電車シリーズの更なる充実
●ヘッドライト、テールライト、前面表示器点灯。LED使用(ON-OFFスイッチ付)
●フライホイール付動力ユニット搭載
●湘南色と体質改善工事施行車の混成編成
●2000年代初頭の東海道・山陽本線で活躍した網干総合車両所の113系より「かぼちゃオ・レ」と呼ばれた混成編成をセレクト
●4両編成の中でも両端先頭車が非ユニットサッシの初期型、WAU102で冷房改造されたF6編成がプロトタイプ
●国鉄時代にシールドビーム改造された奇数側先頭車の前面を新規作成
●おわん型タイフォンカバーを装着
