TOMIX 7143 JR EF66-0形電気機関車(後期型・特急牽引機・グレー台車)

EF66形は最高速度100km/hの1000t級高速貨物列車を単機でけん引可能な機関車として、1968年から製造が開始され、55両が製造されました。
1985年からはブルートレインのけん引機に抜擢され活躍しました。
JR西日本へ継承されたEF66形は、スハ25形のパンタグラフ制御用のジャンパ栓の追設やPS22形パンタグラフへの換装が行われたほか2004年頃より台車や床下の色がグレーへと変更されました。
